Amanda is a comedy writer with experience writing and producing for television and broadcast events such as The Oprah Winfrey Networks first ever Late-night/aftershow OWN Tonight, Vice President Al Gore's annual broadcast 24 Hours of Reality,  SyFy Presents Live From Comic Con hosted by Zachary Levi, the late night political talk show Take Part Live (Pivot), Popugar Now, multiple syndicated comedy clip shows and new media content including: What's Trending (Emmy nominated) and The Morning After (HULU). She was the head writer for the comedy/sketch show pilot In Other News for CBS Television Distribution and also the Talk show pilot Breakthrough with Dr. Steve Perry which was picked up for limited series on FOX.

Amanda is in her 4th year as the writer for former Vice President Al Gore's 24 Hours of Reality. Now more than ever we need to protect our planet, protect ourselves.

In 2017 she wrote the script for 24 Hours of Reality: Be the Voice of Reality, celebrating the climate activism happening all around the planet and calling on each of us to make a difference. The broadcast won the Shorty Industry Award for Best Organic Promotion. Celebrity appearances included: Patrick Adams, Ed Begley Jr., Mariah Carey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Tim Daly, Helen Hunt, Téa Leoni, Jonathan Scott, and Shailene Woodley with musical performances by Music acts included Sheryl Crow, Ryan Tedder and  Annie Lennox, Iggy Pop, Jason Mraz, The Killers, and more.

2016: Amanda was the writer for 24 Hours of Reality: The Road Forward. Originating live from New York City, with additional contributions from Mexico City, Tokyo, South Africa and Paris, the show to date has aired in over 70 countries.

2015: Amanda was the writer for 24 Hours of Reality and Live Earth: The Road to Paris. A 24 hour live broadcast from Paris in preparation for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, COP 21 in 2015. The show traveled around the globe and featured world leaders such as former United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan and celebrities like Pharrell Williams, Duran, Duran and Sir Elton John. She wrote all of the show copy for the entire 24 hours including several speeches for Vice President Gore. 

The show was suspended 6 hours into the broadcast on November 13, due to terrorist attacks in Paris. A two-hour special comprised of highlights was shown in Paris during the climate conference.  The Special which won 2 silver and 4 bronze at the 37th annual Telly Awards.



Amanda was a writer on SyFy Live from Comic Con a comedic talk show covering San Diego Comic Con.

own tonight

Amanda was the head writer for the Oprah Winfrey Network's first ever late night/ aftershow "Own Tonight." Shewrote all host copy/ interview questions and worked in the control room making on-the-fly copy changes as needed while we were live.

The Morning After

Amanda wrote over 300 episodes of the Hulu original series The Morning After. A daily, comedy pop culture and entertainment show. She wrote host copy and sketches for the hosts Ginger Gonzaga and Brian Kimmet as well as a variety of celebrity guests such as Wendi McLendon-Covey, Nick Offerman, Rick Fox, the Sklar Brothers and many more.
